F. Nelson Nunalee, PhD

Dr. Nelson Nunalee achieved the honor of Valedictorian while studying Chemistry and Physics at NC State. He earned his PhD in Engineering at Northwestern and followed that with a postdoctoral research position at Duke.

Nelson spent 13 years working at Ravenscroft School in Raleigh, NC before founding Nunalee Tutoring in 2020. He is proud to have served over a thousand students in a variety of capacities, always with the goal of helping them achieve their best and take ownership of their educational journeys.

In his free time, Nelson enjoys hanging out with family and friends, traveling, eating good food, playing piano and drums, taking on home improvement projects, and doing just about anything outside.
